TenCate Advanced Composites NV has signed a cooperative marketing and development agreement with Shanghai's Leadgo-tech Co. Ltd. to support the growing Chinese aerospace industry.
Tencate, headquartered in Almelo, the Netherlands, said in a news release that the primary focus of the agreement is for market development, sales and distribution, product technical support and services in China. Tencate offers a wide range of thermoset composite technologies as well as thermoplastic composites designed for the next generation commercial aircraft.
"The aviation sector in China is growing rapidly, and a strong partnership is essential to support this growth," said Steve Mead, vice president of sales and marketing in a statement. "Leadgo, being an AS9100 certified manufacturer and distributor fits this role well."
Leadgo specializes in composite materials R&D, manufacturing and the import/export trade. Its main products are vacuum bagging materials, carbon fiber prepreg, glass fiber prepreg and other vacuum formed products.
TenCate serves the aircraft, satellite and industrial markets. It has facilities in Europe and North America. | |
